NAAEE is a member organization of the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) (ncate.org). NCATE and its member organizations (e.g., NSTA, NCSS, ASCD, AECI) set widely recognized standards for the preparation of teachers throughout the United States. NCATE accredits 65% of teacher education programs.
NAAEE's approved Standards for the Initial Preparation of Environmental Educators (2008) are currently under revision. This is your opportunity to provide
