The Society for the Study of Social Problems (SSSP) is soliciting applications for the 2012 Racial/Ethnic Minority Graduate Scholarship. Persons identified as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian/Asian-American, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, or American Indian, or Alaska Native and accepted into an accredited doctoral program in any one of the social and/or behavioral sciences are invited to apply for the $12,000 Racial/Ethnic Minority Graduate Scholarship. Applicants will be notified of the results by July 16, 2012. All applicants must be a current member and a citizen or permanent resident of the United States when applying.
