Crosswalks or alignments can be used to show how different standards or
frameworks relate to one another. These
crosswalks/alignments can help the user develop curriculum materials and instructional strategies. They can be used to justify the use of a particular lesson plan in a standards based curriculum. They can be used to identify where concepts/skills overlap or where gaps exist, particularly between EE and state academic standards.
alignments/crosswalks between the Guidelines and instructional
materials, standards, essential principles, etc. that you have developed or find helpful.
To get things started, four crosswalks have been posted to this topic that show the
alignments of the Guidelines for Learners (K-12), Oregon Academic Standards, the Climate Literacy
Principles and the Ocean Literacy Principles.
