This course is co-sponsored by the Smithsonian’s Center for Conservation Education and Sustainability and the George Mason Center for Conservation Studies and hosted at the National Zoo's Conservation and Research Center in Front Royal, Virginia. This course engages graduate students and practitioners in developing skills, approaches, and solutions applicable to the worldwide extinction crisis affecting amphibians. Course participants explore the many tools and techniques for in-situ and ex-situ amphibian research and conservation practice. Graduate credit may be earned.
