A Simple Question explores the remarkable STRAW Program — a collaboration among elementary school students, ranchers, government agencies, and environmental professionals to restore habitat and save the endangered California freshwater shrimp. It began as a 4th grade class project 17 years ago and has since restored more than 20 miles of riparian habitat, trained nearly 700 teachers, and involved over 10,000 students. Featuring author Richard Louv.
