Dedicated to participating in the preservation and betterment of the environment, the festival producers have a lineup of more than 150 "green-friendly" vendors and artisans, displaying everything from solar-fueled batteries to park benches built out of recycled egg cartons. As part of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources (DCNR) "Welcome to Pennsylvania ~ Now Get Out" outdoor activities campaign the agency will set up interactive ecological activities for children and show a white water raft machine so that patrons can experience the thrill of that adventure. Co-presented by Ducks Unlimited, the PA Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, AmeriGreen Biofuel, York College of PA, the PA Academy of Science, Rodale Institute, and Waste Management.
