Our conference isn’t all talk. This year NAAEE offered environmental filmmakers the opportunity to submit programs for viewing at our conference - the 15 films accepted in the review process will be shown during concurrent sessions Thursday through Saturday. The filmmakers will be on hand to introduce their productions and talk about educational materials that go with the visual materials. Our friends at Wildscreen have organized a Saturday panel discussion about the role of films in EE, where you will be introduced to award-winning environmental filmmakers and ARKive, a Wildscreen initiative and an EE resource and showcase for environmental films and photographs focused on biodiversity. The speaker panel will precede a special showing of a film nominated for the 2010 Wildscreen Film Festival – don’t miss it! Thank you ARKive for sponsoring the “Spotlight on Films & EE”.
We encourage you to browse the schedule to plan which films you will enjoy.
