Early Childhood - A Growing Opportunity in EE

Research indicates the single most important factor in developing personal concern for the environment was positive experiences in the outdoors during early childhood. Cognitive, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual benefits were also documented. Environmental Education in the early childhood years opens new opportunities for the EE professional. It will be a key strand at the 2008 NAAEE Conference.
