The Black Bear Conservation Committee (BBCC) is a non-profit group working to restore the Louisiana black bear, a threatened subspecies protected under the Endangered Species Act. Among their conservation activities, BBCC also provides a variety of materials to environmental educators in Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana, including the free CD "Black Bears and Songbirds of the Mississippi Alluvial Valley" (http://www.bbcc.org/informationandeducation/cd/index.htm)
