NAAEE is offering a $1000 EE Scholarship for Academic Study to a student attending a college or university in Virginia (the host state for the 2007 NAAEE Conference). Scholarship applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree program or taking coursework that directly supports future career plans as an environmental educator in a formal or non-formal setting. Current membership in NAAEE is not required. Persons of color and students working in environmental justice are encouraged to apply. In addition to the scholarship, the selected student will be offered a free registration to the NAAEE annual conference in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on November 14-17, 2007.
