The Education Intern works with the Education Manager to prepare and present high quality environmental education programs. Education interns will learn from experts in the field of conservation education while gaining exposure to information education techniques but inside and outside the classroom. As an integral part of the education team, this position will aid in pre and post evaluation, curriculum development, and teaching.

Audubon Texas is the state program of the National Audubon Society. Through Audubon Texas Centers and in partnership with local chapters, we connect people of all ages and backgrounds to nature through our conservation and education programs. We are working to educate 50,000 students on an annual basis, restore more than 3 million acres of grasslands, and oversee 13,000 acres of critical coastal habitat.

This position will be responsible for assisting staff with administrative duties related to fundraising, program delivery, center operations, volunteer management and center visitors.

This is a full-time position with a 40 hour work week. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required (mostly related to special events and programs).
