Outdoor Educator(s) Needed Fall 2015 Programs- Oyster Bay Ny

Looking for qualified individuals who enjoy teaching about Marine Science, Ecology and general Biology for students from k-12. Work is mostly outdoors in varying conditions. Work Schedule from September- November with work slowing down after the thanksgiving holiday. At least 3 days a week for PT 8:00am-3:00pm or Full Time M-F 8:00-3:00 Some weeks will be a little different

The YOP NY/NJ Outdoor Programming Coordinator will be responsible for the overall engagement, support, and retention of YOP Members. Using a variety of strategies including trip planning sessions, site recommendations, itinerary development, pre-trip meetings, and participation in YOP-supported Youth Adventures, the Outdoor Programming Coordinator will engage at least 80% of our active members to take advantage of YOP training and support for getting their youth outdoors.
