Forest Project Crew Leader

Wave Hill is seeking current college students to lead crews of high school interns in doing ecological restoration work in Wave Hill’s woodlands. Crew Leaders are responsible for developing a restoration plan for their site and for day-to-day management of their assigned crew. Crew Leaders report to the Forest Project Manager to ensure goals are met and interns are working to their highest potential. Two weeks of paid orientation and training are provided.

NYC Eco-Schools is looking to hire four, full-time paid Sustainability Coordinators or “Coaches” for our Greenpoint Eco-Schools program. This is a pilot program with great potential to demonstrate the value of paid Sustainability Coordinator positions in NYC schools. This is a grant-funded position that begins on June 1, 2015 and ends in January 2018.
