Teatown Lake Reservation, the largest privately operated, non-profit environmental education center in Westchester County, NY is seeking a bilingual Environmental Educator to work with the education team to provide environmental education programs for all ages, including school groups, and adult workshops. This two year grant funded position requires an enthusiastic, outgoing and energetic person who will further Teatown’s mission to inspire the community to lifelong environmental stewardship.

The successful candidate will synthesize research, course evaluations, and the journal, book and grey literature on online and hybrid learning and on one or two other topics for an environmental education professional audience. The final product will be written and/or multi-media resources for a major environmental education professional training project, i.e., EPA’s National Environmental Education Training Program—“EECapacity.”

Looking for qualified individuals who enjoy teaching about Marine Science, Ecology and general Biology for students from k-12. Work is mostly outdoors in varying conditions. Work Schedule from September- November with work slowing down after the thanksgiving holiday. At least 3 days a week for PT 8:00am-3:00pm or Full Time M-F 8:00-3:00 Some weeks will be a little different
