The Sandia Mountain Natural History Center (SMNHC) is a natural history & environmental education facility located on the east side of the Sandia Mountains in Cedar Crest, New Mexico. The SMNHC is owned by Albuquerque Public Schools and operated by the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science.

Mountain Kids is an outdoor education and adventure program based in Santa Fe, NM for children ages 5-11 years. Campers meet at the Children’s Museum each day before heading off on adventures in the nearby mountains. Camp activities include learning about the natural world, hiking, slack line, archery, wilderness skills, art, imaginative play, and good-old fashioned fun!

Audubon's Wings internship program invites students and recent graduates to help shape a healthy environment and vibrant future for birds - and all of us who share the planet with them. Education interns will learn from experts in the field of conservation education while gaining exposure to informal education techniques both inside and outside the classroom.

Fenton Ranch is a residential environmental education facility. It is located in a beautiful canyon in the Jemez Mountains 80 miles north of Albuquerque. We are looking for one spring educator that has experience working with elementary age children, teaching in the outdoors and is able to live in a more remote location. This position is residential and it includes room and board.
