The Bayshore Center at Bivalve, a non-profit grassroots environmental organization, owns and operates the authentically restored 1928 Oyster Schooner AJ Meerwald, as a floating classroom promoting stewardship of the Delaware Estuary and its environs. The sailing program includes participation in prepared learning stations, sailing the vessel, and promoting the organization.

The Stony Brook - Millstone Watershed Association is seeking enthusiastic, creative and motivated candidates to fill one PAID position as a Teacher-Naturalist Intern in the Education Department. The internship provides training and experience in a wide array of environmental education activities. SBMWA maintains a 930-acre Nature Reserve in Hopewell Township, NJ. The Education Interns will work in the new LEED-platinum Watershed Center on the Reserve.

Watershed Nature Camp is an outdoor day camp focused on nature and ecology and is located on the 930-acre Watershed Reserve in Hopewell Township (Mercer County), NJ. Local applicants preferred; housing is not available. Watershed Nature Camp is a program of the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association (SBMWA).

The Rancocas Nature Center is looking for an enthusiastic Intern to work in our summer nature camp program. The Summer Intern will work with the staff of Rancocas and help facilitate environmental education programs. The candidate will gain valuable teaching experience and natural history knowledge while learning group management in an outdoor setting.

The seasonal teacher-naturalist provides natural science programs primarily to summer camp participants, but may be called upon to provide environmental education to schools, interested groups and the general public. The teacher naturalist, under the direction of the sanctuary director, takes part in all aspects of programming and operating a nature center. The teacher naturalist takes an active role in promoting the Rancocas Nature Center as a membership-based environmental organization.

Under the direction of a full-time Naturalist, conduct canoe, kayak, and stand up paddle programs with the highest level of customer service. Provide program participants with answers to inquiries regarding the environment, ecology, and other related issues. May also provide basic nature interpretation.
