Fall Outdoor Educators

Join a team of 12 instructors teaching in the woods of Michigan this fall! Fall season runs early September to early December. Activities include some nature & science and a lot of team initiatives & outdoor skills. Rotate weekly between daytime teaching or dormitory supervision. Live in your own or a shared cabin in the woods by a lake! Especially looking for male staff to ensure equal teaching and dormitory time for all instructors. .

Position Purpose:
Must be able to understand and work with the mission of Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan (GSHOM), which
is; Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.
The counselor will also ensure the safety of the girl’s that attend Summer Day Camps in GSHOM, and
keep daily and weekly functions of day camp running up to the standards of GSHOM.

Trout Unlimited is looking for someone to fill a national-level position with responsibilities for supporting volunteer leaders and youth program participants across the country. Ideal candidates will have a background in K-12 education (with preference given for experience creating curriculum and managing field-based environmental or science education initiatives).
