Pine Mountain Settlement School is seeking applications for its Environmental Education Fellowship Program. The full time 6-month Fellowships begin January 2016 and end June 2016. They include a $6,000 stipend, free housing, and most meals. There is also the potential to extend the Fellowships to a full time year-round position.

Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area is seeking to fill 1-2 apprentice positions in our environmental education and recreation program. LBL is a 170,000-acre National Recreation Area located in Kentucky and Tennessee and is administered by the U.S. Forest Service. Apprenticeship positions are for individuals who seek practical experience and training in environmental education, outdoor recreation, facility operations, and customer service for a wide range of visitors.

Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area is a 170,000-acre parcel of mainly bottomlands hardwood forest nestled between two large freshwater lakes in western KY and TN. Apprenticeship positions are designed for college graduates who desire a well-rounded experience with interpretive program planning and delivery and other aspects of the operations of a nature center or residential camp.
