Idaho 4-H is seeking four (3) Environmental Science Facilitation Coaches (ESFC) to establish a new 4-H environmental education program.
The three projects take place in 1) Moscow/McCall, Idaho 2) Coeur d'Alene,Idaho 3) Caldwell, Idaho
Develop and deliver environmental education lessons and community programs to Treasure Valley students and community members of all ages and assist with organizational details and logistics involved in delivering these programs. Recruit and coordinate volunteers to help with special projects.
This position is located at the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute in Moscow, Idaho.
The selected AmeriCorps member will develop an environmentally focused youth program for local middle-school students and/or high-school students at the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute.
The AmeriCorps member will work with Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute staff to plan and implement projects and programs at the Nature Center. The member will assist with facilitating activities and coordinating volunteers who will participate in the completion of projects at the PCEI Nature Center.
This position takes place at Backyard Harvest in Moscow, Idaho. AmeriCorps member will coordinate the harvesting activities around the region for this organization that distributes fresh produce to low-income residents.
Trout Unlimited is looking for someone to fill a national-level position with responsibilities for supporting volunteer leaders and youth program participants across the country. Ideal candidates will have a background in K-12 education (with preference given for experience creating curriculum and managing field-based environmental or science education initiatives). The position location is negotiable, with a preference for candidates in the upper Midwest, Southwest or Pacific Northwest United States.
