Fortson 4-H Center is looking for a seasonal Environmental Educator for our Fall season (with the opportunity to continue in the Spring season). Our Fall season currently runs from August – November and our Spring season currently runs March - May. Schools come to our center during the school year for 1, 2 or 3 day field studies that focus on up to 4 class areas: Ecology, Living History, Team Building and Outdoor Skills. This is a seasonal Environmental Educator position at Fortson 4-H Center in Hampton, GA; just south of Atlanta. The primary responsibility is to independently lead young people through classes that include pond ecology, forest sciences, archery, entomology, herpetology, orienteering, wilderness survival, Challenge/Ropes Course, pioneer life and Native American studies.
