San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex is located in California’s South San Francisco Bay with thousands acres of wetland habitat protecting endangered species and migratory birds. You will gain experience working with the Visitor Services staff at various locations on the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge and additional refuges throughout the Bay Area.

The Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department is recruiting for 2 positions in the Interpretation/Outdoor Recreation Division to provide development, coordination and oversight for various park projects, programs and events related to interpretation and outdoor recreation. Naturalists lead field groups of fifth and sixth grade students from diverse backgrounds through a 4-day learning experience that is appropriately adapted to the needs of the group and seasonal climate. In addition, Naturalists supervise and support volunteer cabin leaders who provide the routine supervision of children in the cabin areas. Naturalists share in a variety of camp and program related duties on a rotational basis, including running of meals, recreational activities, and evening programs.

The YMCA of the East Bay is currently hiring a Program Director for the Outdoor Environmental Education Program at Camp Arroyo. This position is responsible for development and implementation of the Outdoor Environmental Education curriculum. Assists with marketing the Camp and the Outdoor Environmental Education program to schools. Supervises and and trains staff for OEE programming, weekend groups, and summer programming. This position will work some nights and weekends.
