The Sierra Outdoor School Naturalist enhances the curriculum at Sierra Outdoor School (SOS) at Five Mile Creek through preparation of classroom materials, outdoor training, and instruction. Participates and assists the SOS administration in lesson planning and carrying out supervisor assigned tasks to reinforce instruction. Provides general assistance to students, teachers, administrators and parents.
The Naturalist is responsible for teaching off site and on site environmental and social science education programs to children for the Environmental Nature Center.
