The National Environmental Education Development Collaborative serves 5th grade students. It is a collaboration of the Cape Cod National Seashore and the school districts of Falmouth, Monomoy, and Dennis-Yarmouth. The program was established in the early 1970's to help school children to understand their total environment, its many interdependent relationships, and their part in it. The goals of the program also include nurturing personal growth, positive peer interactions, and independence.
The Wildlife Learning Center is a wildlife sanctuary and education facility in Sylmar, CA (Northern Los Angeles County). We are currently hiring one full-time and two part-time animal care and educator positions.
The Louisiana State University EnvironMentors program would like to hire a graduate student to fill the role of Coordinator beginning in January 2012. We are offering a graduate assistantship for a student who would be enrolled in the LSU Masters of Natural Science program for a minimum of one year (typically a two year program).
