Coordinate and assist with coordinating, three volunteer watershed associations’ water quality monitoring programs. Recruit volunteers, participate in and provide volunteer training, organize and distribute program supplies, maintain and update volunteer contact information and laboratory data, perform water quality sample collection andtransport and provide other ongoing program support.
The LIFE Center (Learning In a Fun Environment) is a residential outdoor education program for fifth and sixth grade students from the Douglas County School District and surrounding school districts. Our site is situated in the Perry Park area southwest of Larkspur, Colorado. The 99-acre site backs up to the National Forest. This area provides excellent opportunities to develop environmental literacy skills in which students experience five spheres of LIFE: Biosphere, Astrosphere, Geosphere, Hydrosphere
