American Conservation Experience, a Non-Profit Conservation Corps based in Flagstaff, AZ, in partnership with the National Park Service, Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GRSM) is seeking one Education Intern interested in dedicating 12 weeks in support of the National Park Service in implementing and delivering inquiry and curriculum-based programs in environmental education and stewardship to students grades K-12.

Environmental Education Internship

The ideal candidates will be working towards a degree in environmental education, interpretation or related degree and / or pursuing a career in these fields. They will be dynamic team players with excellent communication skills and a eagerness to learn. This internship will typically require 40 hours per week for three months.

Fenton Ranch is a residential environmental education facility. It is located in a beautiful canyon in the Jemez Mountains 80 miles north of Albuquerque. We are looking for one spring educator that has experience working with elementary age children, teaching in the outdoors and is able to live in a more remote location. This position is residential and it includes room and board.
